MorningCroissant.com specialises in home sharing for short durations, allowing travelers to rent from locals. It was founded in August 2011 by two French entrepreneurs, Alix Tafflé and Laurent De Vitton.

While staying in hotels they asked themselves if there was a way to find vacation rentals that were cheaper, more spacious, and more authentic than hotel rooms. They experimened with rental between individuals, and travelers and hosts, so that they could discover the limits and imperfections of short rental sites. By launching MorningCroissant, the founders wanted to simplify rental between individuals and make it more intuitive, keeping security and confidence in transactions a priority.

For a short rental in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, and more, MorningCroissant follows owners and renters through each step of the reservation, from the time ads are put online to the rental payment, thanks to strong customer service.

MorningCroissant offers total protection to owners and renters at each booking.

How does it work?

On one side, the renter pays at the moment of reservation, assuring the owner receives payment. On the other, MorningCroissant does not release funds until the day after the renter has arrived, assuring that the rental conforms with the web description (if not, the reservation is cancelled and the renter is reimbursed automatically).
